Simply Spellbound…Another Sunset in Alaska

Sunset over Cook Inlet with a small break in the snowy sky this Februrary 12 2008
We are gaining 5 minutes 35 seconds daylight today,
such a wonderous thing to me each and every year I spend up here.
I never tire of catching the sunset light, the moon, stars or northern lights.

The heavens here are filled with color on winter days and nights in a land beyond.

The volcanoes and distant horizons are spellbinding to me and I return

again and again

Lovely Steve!I love the haloed (is there such a word?) sunset against the black foreground. How different these two pictures are…the second one is so soft compared to starkness of the first.  Seems like you have it all! Here\’s hoping you have a wonderful Wednesday to go along with the beauty around you!hugs,

Genesis 14-19 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years;  vs 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so. vs 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lessser light to rule the night; he made the stars also.  vs 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, vs 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.  vs 19 And the evening the morning were the fourth day.  If God said it, I believe it….BE BLESSED….ELZA
