Where the Gold Is

It struck me funny just now, at 1:16am.
The summer sun is like the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in a way.
Both can keep me up very late, and they are both, after all, solar events.
Two weeks and a day until Summer Solstice, the time of the midnight sun.
Here is a shot of the city and beyond to the Takotna mountains,
where the gold is,
Proven and so remote, mountains full of it…
This shot was taken at 11:15pm, 15 minutes before the sun set

Rev 21:18, 21-23 " And the building of the wall of it was of jasper:  and the city was pure gold, like uto clear glass. vs 21"And the twelve gat4es were twelve pearls:  every several gate was of one Pearl:  and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.  vs 22 And I saw no temple therein:  for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  vs 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it:  for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."
TO GOD BE THE GLORY…Thanks Steve….ELZA

And then the days get shorter…Does all that daylight drive ya nuts?  The days are noticibly longer up at the cabin, but I\’d have a hard time with daylight 24/7.
