Spectacle

Events line up according to the rhythm of heavenly bodies and provide spectacles at times.
In this case, a twice a year event occurs 2/3 of the way from Winter Solstice to Equinox,
either way, before or after.
The sun sets on and about Mount Redoubt, one of our familiar volcanoes here.
Yes she is still at unrest but no eruption yet.
This is one of the spectacles that keeps me in awe and draws me into this place.

    Oh those colors!!!!! So Red!!! To me, the clouds drenched in sunlight look like fire all ablaze on the volcano….even the water looks different. It may be cold but you live in a wonderful place. Smiling at you…

    That is completely different view as where I live. I was enjoying in white blue colours this morning. Was clear wonderful blue sky and mountains covered with snow also looking wonderful. The whole day was sunny and guite warm.Great photos and I hope the vulcanoes won\’t erupt anytime soon.Hug,T
