Redoubt Revisited

In the haste of daily life we often miss bits and pieces that fly by us in time and space, I know I do.
I recently revisited a shoot I did this last February. I was surprised to see this one I had missed.
That’s the great thing about photography, memories and comtemplative introspection,
to see what we have seen before but with new eyes.
I am glad I can see this in the warmth of summer now,
though I could not be looking at it now without having been in the bitter cold of winter.

Howdy from Texas. I was just looking at photographs of Alaska with my friend. She and her man took an Alaskan cruise and had the time of their life. They\’ll be talking about it for months. You\’re a lucky duck to be able to live there… yes, even in the winter!

  11. Jana says:

because of the red color I wouldn\’t think that it was taken at winter, beautiful!

Don\’t know how you could have missed this one. But I have many that the timing just didn\’t feel right yet. the fiery of a photo. Warms me up.
