LOST HORIZON

An Inferior Mirage (meaning the sky melds into the horizon) muddles the view after the sunset. This is a two frame panorama, as always best viewed large.
Or perhaps the experience sharpens the view?
In 1973 I registered for the draft, (I was in the last batch to do so), graduated from high school, went off to college and the Movie Lost Horizons came out, a remake of Frank Capra’s 1937 film. I didn’t go see the movie but my mother did, and she bought the soundtrack album. I fell in love with that album and the adventure of the theme.

So now, still searching for that lost horizon and finding it, if only for photographic instants

Pan 62-63 875 Lost Horizon

This music may perhaps seem a departure considering my propensity toward hard rock, but it’s really just another layer.
