Lesson From The Light

I love to try to show the big picture and the grand vistas from Alaska.
Sometime this just doesn’t work, and have to narrow the view.
I gain lessons from the light, or perhaps they are a reflection of lessons learned or about to be learned.

Here in this photo, it is an easy narrative, it is quite simply what I saw and had to work with.
The meaning runs deeper than just snapping a photograph.
I like where it takes me in this way, chasing the light, and chasing the truth and good things in life,
not always an easy thing, but a good thing I think.

Though there is a storm cloud on the horizon,
the light shines on through.

If the sun\’s at the right (low) angle and you get it right, as you have here, the calm water can take on a metallic golden appearance. Nice work.
