Equinox Mirror, The Lady of the Lake

About the time of the Equinox there comes a melting of the lake, but just from above.
Still thick ice locks in the body of the waters, as a new and fleeting lake appears surficially.
A reflection pond you cannot hold on to, she won’t be there for long.
Reflect now she says to me, don’t wait, for then it is too late.

Beautiful Steve. It was great that you could position yourself so only the top of the mountain was in the reflection. I can almost smell that wonderful scent of spring melt water. The Canada Geese are heading your way. It is so nice to see them going over heading north. As I typed this I heard the honking once again through the open window. Hugs

It looks like a painting. Cut off the original and flip the reflection. I did that with a reflection of a heron. Made for a little bit of a different photo..
