Cauldron

On a recent flight over Mount Redoubt, one of our local stratovolcanoes.
She is not on the alert list for some time now,
Still she is active…this is the summit caldera and lava dome.

    J – Hmmmm brats steamed to perfection and ice cold Corona beer, worth a hike any day!I have some buddies that climbed this peak before she blew her top.Puzzle – about the gender thing, I didn\’t make it up, honest, I think the first I heard it was from a lady, really 🙂

    isnt it strange that all that snow or ice can form on a volcano even when not going to blow you would think enough heat would come to the top good picture thanks for sharing with us.all the best to you and look forward to your nexed lot of pictures.
